Guilherme de Almeida is a multidisciplinary artist born in São Paulo, Brazil, in 1994. His path began as a self-taught pianist and origami artist, before pursuing formal studies at major institutions in Brazil and France. He graduated in 2024 from the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris, where he earned his Master’s degree in improvisation with the highest distinction.
His artistic journey is a true reflection of today’s world. His inventive range weaves together musical creation, electronics, painting, sculpture, filmmaking, artistic direction, research and pedagogy — from cabaret to cine-concerts. Among other achievements, his work has already resonated on some of the most prestigious stages worldwide.
Currently a member of the governing board of the European alliance In.Tune, G. de Almeida is composer-in-residence at the Académie des Beaux-Arts for the 2025–26 season, where he is creating the libretto, scenography, costumes, and music for his new performative opera entitled Anne Greene.
